Panamanian President José Raúl Mulino will travel this Saturday with First Lady Maricel Cohen de Mulino to New York, United States, where he will participate in the High-Level Week of the United Nations General Assembly.

The president will have an agenda that will combine diplomatic meetings, meetings with representatives of the international financial sector, and activities aimed at promoting Panama to investors.

One of the highlights of the visit will be his speech before the UN General Assembly, scheduled for Wednesday, September 23.

The High-Level Week brings together heads of state and government in New York and includes various international meetings.

On September 23, the United Nations has scheduled, among other activities, a high-level meeting on climate action and a just transition.

Which Leaders will Mulino Meet with in New York? Among the meetings scheduled on the Panamanian president’s agenda are meetings with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen; the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu; and the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez.

Sánchez will also be in New York during the United Nations General Assembly.
