The Formula E 2026–27 season calendar was unveiled a few weeks ago amid much fanfare and is the longest in the history of the electric racing series.
With 21 races set to be held across the globe, the calendar also features new venues, including Austin in the US and Zandvoort in the Netherlands.
When the drivers were asked for their reaction to the new calendar, most shared their excitement about racing at Zandvoort.

He said, “Zandvoort's a great addition.
I said when I first joined last year that actually I think it would be a good addition because of the braking zones and how much you get to recharge actually, so I think that was a good addition.”“Brands Hatch obviously, I've never raced there but that's a great addition.
And starting and ending the season on night races is pretty cool as well, so looking forward to it,” he added.Mahindra Racing's Nyck de Vries also shared his excitement about Zandvoort.
The Dutch driver said, “Yeah, it's very nice to get a chance to race at Zandvoort.
I didn't race in the Netherlands since 2012, so it's been a while.
I never got a chance to race at Zandvoort and always really loved the track.
