Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz has named a 24-man squad for Ghana’s upcoming international assignments, including the start of the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana will face Côte d’Ivoire and Gambia in the AFCON qualifiers before travelling to Morocco for an international friendly against the hosts.
Mohammed Kudus returns to the Black Stars squad for the first time since October 2025, when he featured in Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against the Central African Republic and Comoros.
The return marks Kudus’ comeback to the national team after nearly a year away.
However, there is no place in the squad for Thomas Partey, despite the midfielder recently recovering from an injury that kept him sidelined after joining Saudi Arabian club Al Shabab.
