The daughter of Australian cricket legend Matthew Hayden was shadowing New Zealand sideline reporter Tiana Penitani-Gray during the Panthers’ narrow win over the Warriors on Sunday night.
Penitani-Gray has established a strong reputation at Fox League, and Hayden has her eye on joining her as part of the next generation of female rugby league reporters.
Hayden, an avid Broncos fan, could be used as a sideline reporter for Broncos home games at Suncorp moving forward.
It is just the latest step for Hayden, who continues to carve out a successful path in media after her breakout role as Channel Seven’s Oaks Day Ambassador in 2022.
Since then, she has continued to present at various horse racing events and in cricket leagues around the world, including the BBL, IPL and the Caribbean Premier League.
