Industrialist and former Raymond chairman Vijaypat Singhania passed away late Saturday evening at the age of 87 (1938-2026), marking the end of an era for one of Indias most recognisable business legacies.
Known for building a textile powerhouse as much as for his personal warmth, Singhanias death triggered an outpouring of grief from employees past and present, many of whom remembered him as more than a corporate leader.
