Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Fathali on Tuesday said that only ships of the "aggressor" nations —such as Israel and the United States— are being blocked from transiting through the Strait of Hormuz.

"I emphasise that the Strait of Hormuz is not closed.

Ships from countries not part of the war can benefit from safe navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, said Fathali.
