Sprint sensation Gout Gout says he’s seeking revenge on fellow Australian Lachlan Kennedy when they duel in a highly anticipated 200 metre showdown.
Gout and Kennedy will again race the 200m at the Maurie Plant Meet in Melbourne on March 28.

“I know it’s going to be same again this year.
Lachie ran great last year, so for sure I’m out for revenge.” Gout, 18, holds the Australian 200m record - 20.02 seconds, set in the Czech Republic in June last year.
That scorching run bettered his own benchmark in his pet event which he has lowered several times since breaking Peter Norman’s time of 20.06 in late 2024 - one which was the national benchmark for 56 years.
