Around 1,000 race staff have had to scramble and change travel plans as many planes operated by Emirates, Etihad and Qatar Airways are grounded.

Pre-season F1 testing was held in Sakhir, Bahrain and it has been a serious operation to transport the cars and equipment to Melbourne for the first race of the year.
Australian F1 Grand Prix chief Travis Auld said on Monday he had spoken to F1 bosses and “everyone will be here ready for the race”.
